If you have any questions or suggestions concerning AttenuTech® MicroLite® Series protective eyewear or AttenuTech radiation reducing gloves, we are anxious to hear from you and ready to be of service.

The glass lenses in your leaded eyewear are not shatterproof and are not suited for protection against impact, laser protection, or working with infectious materials. Do not use your eyewear if it becomes damaged. For your safety, immediately repair or replace eyewear that has become pitted, chipped or damaged.

Care and Maintenance

Your radiation, laser and safety should be treated as a medical instrument and handled with care. Store your eyewear in the protective case when not in use. Your protective eyewear can be cleaned with AttenuTech/Barrieronline.com "Anti-Fog Lens Cleaner," or soaked in alcohol for ten minutes and rinsed with water. Cleaning your leaded glass eyewear with other commercial solvents may damage the lens and frames.

Upon receipt of your AttenuTech product, please check your order carefully. AttenuTech and Barrieronline.com offer a 15 day return policy for credit, refunds or exchanges for stock items.




Prescription Guarantee
We guarantee manufacture accuracy on all prescriptions or they will be remade at no charge. Prior to leaving AttenuTech, all prescription eyeglasses undergo a stringent quality control hand inspection. The lenses are checked at four different stations for accuracy*. We pride ourselves in our workmanship. Accurately filling your prescription is our number one priority. In the unlikely event that our quality control measures fail, we will promptly and courteously remake the lenses.


Stock Item / Eyewear Return and Exchange Policy
When you purchase any AttenuTech eyewear and/or non-prescription / non-personalized stock item, you have 15 days from the date you receive the product to return the product for a refund, less the shipping costs. Returned products must be in the original packaging and condition or a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.


Due to the nature of eyewear personalization, we do not accept returns on personalized Eyewear Glasses.


Order Cancellation Policy
No prescription order can be canceled once it enters our lab; however, if you wish to cancel your order before it goes into the lab (less than 2 hours from the time order was placed), there is a $15 cancellation fee to account for clerical time and card processing fees. This $15 fee also applies to any changes to an order (prescription or non-prescription), including a change to shipping method or product quantities.

AttenuTech is not responsible for products we do not receive, or products damaged in shipping.


For incorrect orders or items that are sent to you in error, please contact AttenuTech immediately upon receipt of your order. Our courteous staff will correct the problem.


All AttenuTech frames are fully guaranteed against manufacturer defects (material and workmanship) for one year from the date of purchase. Customer hereby acknowledges and agrees that all Product is custom manufactured for each individual Customer and once production has commenced there can be no cancellation of orders.


Seller warrants that all Products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment. Products returned under the above warranty shall be either repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of AttenuTech and is limited to the value of the Products on the date of the original shipment. All replaced parts and Product become the property of Seller. This limited warranty does not include service to repair damage to the Product resulting from customer’s negligence, misuse, modification of the Product, or use for purposed other than those intended by its manufacture. Does not cover excessive use or wear and tear from improper storage or customer abuse or failure to follow proper care guidelines. Warranty is voided if any solvent based cleaning solutions are used. Seller’s obligations under this limited warranty are conditioned upon Customer’s compliance with Seller’s reasonable instructions and requests in connection with its performance of such obligations. Service under this limited warranty may be obtained by delivering the Product at Customer’s expense (using the original shipping container or its equivalent) during the warranty period to the manufacturer and providing proof of purchase date. Customer shall assume the risk of loss or damage in transit. Seller shall bear the cost for return of repaired or replaced Product under valid warranty claims to Customer by normal commercial means in the continental United States. For further information, refer to the Limited Warranty contained in Seller’s standard product literature, if applicable.


All aprons must be inspected by the facility before they are put into service. No returns for aprons with alleged pinholes, tears, or cracks will be allowed more than seven (7) days after the aprons have been received by the end user. Protective core material is fragile, easily damaged, and therefore great care is needed to protect the integrity of the core material. All aprons are inspected and free of defects when they are shipped. Pinholes, tears, cracks and other damage to the protective core material can be caused by many different factors, but if they are not there when the apron is received and inspected, then they are not the responsibility of the manufacturer and the warranty does not apply.


AttenuTech® Glove boxes are intact, unopened, and in resalable condition and you require a different size, credit or refund.


You must submit a return materials authorization (RMA) request form within 15 days of your purchase for exchange, refund or credit. Do not return a product without an RMA number. All returns for credit, refund or exchange are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

International Shipments

If your order is shipping internationally (outside of the U.S.) it may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the destination country. AttenuTech and barrieronline.com have no control over these charges and cannot estimate what they will be. Any charge that might be incurred is the customer's responsibility. AttenuTech and barrieronline.com are not responsible for ANY duties, taxes or broker fees that may be charged to your shipment. For further information please contact your local customs office.
